This freight broker position manages the logistics involved in moving customer freight from quote to delivery. The role is built for someone who can price confidently, communicate well with shippers and carriers, and stay on top of daily shipment details in a fast-moving brokerage environment.
What you’ll do
The role blends quoting, shipment management, and continuous communication across the load lifecycle.

Quote and negotiate freight
- Negotiate pricing with both shippers and carriers while protecting margin and service expectations.

Read the market and cover freight
- Use load boards and market conditions to understand spot pricing and secure the right transportation options.

Oversee daily shipment execution
- Keep pickups and deliveries moving, monitor status, and stay in contact with drivers, shippers, and consignees.

Manage load documentation
- Oversee the paperwork and reporting tied to each movement, including rate confirmations, BOLs, and invoices.
Requirements

Compensation
Compensation and benefits
This full-time role is based in Fort Worth and offers $50,000 plus commission and health benefits. It is a good fit for a motivated broker who wants to deepen commercial skills while working inside an established transportation company.
